Sarah-Ji grew up in a fundamentalist cult, spent her early adult life in the Evangelical subculture, left the Church, wandered for a few years, and is now happy in her little Emerthodist community in Chicago. Her daughter Cadence was born in 2004, and she and her husband Ted have been trying to keep up ever since.
